WOYWW

I may not be in the garden, BUT flowers are on my mind!

I'll be on crutches until at least the 24th.

Recovery is longer and harder for a hip repair than a hip replacement.

Now that I can tell I am going to feel much better than before surgery, being still is a challenge.

Linking up with Mrs. Dunnit .

BE BLESSED!

Gorgeous flowers!!!! Last year when I was too ill to craft, I made about a million flower/medallions using various tea bag folds. It helped to pass the time and I printed my tiles for free on my computer. Check it out!!

be careful of your shoulders Darla, crutches ( unless they are elbow crutches) can cause much damage.. do hope you have a straight forward convalescence...

thanks for coming by my desk earlier,

dx

It is interesting that repair takes longer than replacement. Take care and know the 24th will be here before you know it. Next year you will think this time was short. Enjoy your time with your beautiful crafts, fall will last a long time in FL...you will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the garden soon.

Your flowers are so beautiful Darla, at least they will take your mind off things for a little while. Wishing you a speedy recovery, the 24th will soon be here.

Thanks for stopping by, you really should try some Glimmer Mist, there is no colour in mine but lots of lovely shimmer. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #13

You just have to have flowers one way or another if you are a gardener. You are making some beautiful flowers too Darla. I love the purples!! and the cans are so cute. Get well my friend.

My mom injured her arthritis hip back in Feb. No break, just an intense twist of a certain muscle. It had to heal before hip replacement. It took longer for that to heal (3 months)then the surgery itself which was less then 2 months recovery time! She is now cane free and just about pain free! So yes, it takes longer to heal from a repair then a replacement. You too will be up and going without a crutch soon… Hang in there…

Oh dear, sounds like you have been in the wars. Hope your recovery is hurried up a bit but successful. Mind you the enforced rest might do you good in ore ways than one and you are producing some beautiful things along the way.
Thanks for sharing them - Hugs, Neet 31 xx

Crutches are annoying aren't they? You can't carry anything. I used a long shoulder strapped tote to be able to move stuff but it doesn't work for a glass of tea! Keep taking care and making beautiful pieces.

Now showing of pretties.

Have had a blogging break for a while, but am now back and will be blogging more in the future.
