Today's Flowers

Here are just a few of the flowers that I have still blooming or blooming again in my yard... Jasmine Vine. Well it looks like this Azalea is going to continue to bloom although it's Sept.

and some wild flowers at the edge of our woods.

This probably doesn't look like much work, do you have any idea how much grass I got up today? This is only part of what I did, I get busy and forget to take pictures. The first picture as you can tell is on top of the hill in our front yard. I am trying to do a flower bed around the edge of the front yard by the street.

Yep, Ya'll Are Right.

The photos below are of a Hummingbird Moth, the Sphingidae family I believe. The moth worms are those real pretty light green ones. Maybe I'll try to raise some, our youngest raised 5 butterflies early spring and set them free. That was a wonderful experiment for the entire family. Thanks for helping me out.

Baby Hummingbird??

This has to be a baby Hummingbird.....I heard it humming before I could find it. What do you think? Boy is it fast.....and was drinking out of the Wishbone like a mad bird!! I mean it was all over the place.
