Ms. Darla's Childcare Cottage

I have been out of the blogging loop for far too long.  Many, many things have transpired over the last several years.  I still have a love for gardening and photography, although I have had to slow way down on the gardening.  Pretty much have given it up.  I do have some great news to share though.
We have opened a Child Care in Tallahassee, Florida.
It is called Ms. Darla's Childcare Cottage and you can see photos on facebook.  I hope to update all the links here this weekend and get this blog up to date.  I will be doing some gardening with the children as part of their learning experience.
Just wanted to drop in and give everyone a quick update and say 'HI, I do think of you often!'  How could I not?  We shared so much together...  CHAT SOON!!
Hugs !!  Darla

Etching....

etchall® reusable etching creme is a high quality, easy product to use.  Below is another project I did using etchall® etching creme.  I used some turquoise blue acrylic paint and dry brushed it over the white iron frame.  I then taped some vinyl stencils on the glass and used the etching creme.  I cut a piece of pre-glittered turquoise card stock and backed the glass with it.

etchall® can be purchased through the official site here or on Amazon by typing in etchall®  Please remember to mention my name in the check out box somewhere.

Introducing etchall® Reusable etching creme.  It is very easy to use and virtually odorless. Here is a vase I etched and glued onto a candle holder, viola! a flower vase!  etchall®

I also etched on brown and black tinted glass.  Those etched very nice too.

A Little Etching..

Here is a regular canvas that I altered with some gesso, spray inks and paper flowers.  I purchased a round mirror from Michael's , etched some flowers, a butterfly and the word HOPE on it and adhered it to the altered canvas.  What do you think of it?

I'm Baaack!

Hi everyone,

Some of your remember me some do not.  Anyway, a lot has changed in my world.  I am back to blogging along with my you tube crafting channel.  I will slowly be changing over to mostly crafty posts with a garden photo from time to time.  Yes, I still love to garden!  I will be back very soon!

WOYWW

Linking up with Mrs. Dunnit for WOYWW ...for me it's what's on your dining room table, the floor and the kitchen table...

Getting Trying to get ready for the craft Fun Day this weekend, the 17th.  This is a huge craft fair, at least I think it is, 252 vendors..

Saturday evening, when we return home from the craft fair.. I WILL be storing and setting up the downstairs apartment!!  No more trekking through the house with craft items....sheesh. If I can't use the back deck stairs, because of my hip, I'll just walk around and down the side yard.

My hip/knee/leg to the ankle, continues to swell on and off...I am thankful that I have been blessed to live in such a way that I stay home, therefore am comfortable during this process. (staying in p.j.'s all day, it's very uncomfortable and awkward wearing jeans with one hip swollen)
Don't know what I would have done if I had to of left the house daily for work.

Here's to all my new You Tube crafting friends and my old blogging friends that are experiencing crunch time getting ready for Craft Fairs.....
Deep Breaths....

Be Blessed!
