WOYWW

I hope this finds everyone doing well.  I have two craft markets coming up, one in Oct. and the other in Nov. While I am pretty much house bound I am getting some work done.
I have been trying my hand with paper and fabric.

Linking up with Julia for the mid week look at work spaces.
Oh look, it's Julia's blog on the laptop!
Back at it in the kitchen nook area again.
Can't use stairs yet.
The cupcake liner wreaths are not completed yet.  They are so cute in person.

I LOVE watermelon Trident gum!

Covering cardboard boxes with paper, paint and/or tissue paper.

And a few yo yo bows.
Going to town this afternoon when my daughters get out of school.  (I cannot drive yet)  Getting my hair washed, buying one of my daughters some fancy shoes and going to the craft store.
I tried these bows with the scraps I had here, now I know what I need to hopefully make them cuter.  I also need headbands and clips for the back of them.

BE BLESSED!

Everything looks gtreat...you have been busy for just having had surgery.

I heard that stairs take a long time after hip replacement...but you seem to be coping well.

I am really nervous...silly, I know. I want rid of the pain and my life back but I'm really nervous about going under the anaesthetic!!!

I make hair bows too...If you click on my hair pretties and flowers label, it will being up those posts.
I use a layer of glitter tulle in between the layers. Not the shimmer tule as it does not have enough seight.
I get the glitter tulle at the packaging store "Essential packaging"...but I am in Canada. It is only about 60 cents a metre.
I then layer the layer of fabric, a layer of tulle and then keep repeating the layers. I also use the goodie brand hairbands. The ones wit h the sort of ridged look to the band. They are marked anti slip.
They really stay on and don't slip off like all the other ones. They are expensive but I pick them up on sale...I am trying to make 100 for a craft fair so have experimented with all different types of bands.
My fastest sellers are the ones with mariboo trim and feathers sort of coming off one side of the flower.
Second best sellers are the huge hair flowers, tons of layers, tons of glitter...almost overdone looking...and people grab them for wee little toddlers!

Thanks for visiting my blog...still rushing about to put away those last few items...teehee

So many darling things for the craft markets, Darla! You have been very, very busy. I'm sure it must help pass the time while you try and be a patient patient following your hip surgery. During recovery is the only time that time goes slowly!!

Hang in there and keep up the good work. Have a blase a the craft store! And thanks for coming by my place earlier! Have a great week! Darnell #74

Just popping back to say i read your update...Man, your hip must feel so bruised from all the fluid let alone the surgery.
I did not realize they did it that way!
Take care...crafty hugs for a full recovery!

You are just a busy little bee, even for one with her wings clipped for now.
