Bloomin' Tuesday

I am joining Bloomin' Tuesday  over at Jean's.

I just adore Creeping Phlox.  This is the same area as my header.

Red Breadseed Poppies have started blooming.  They are originally from Catherine in Oregon about three or four years ago.  I have mailed seeds all over the states and also several gardeners in our neighborhood have them.  The seeds were also given away as favors at my daughter's wedding in 2010.  Thanks Catherine!

Double Knockout Roses

Clematis growing up a Crape Myrtle, it was rescued for a dollar the same time the purple one below was rescued.

Third year for this Clematis that was rescued for one dollar.  I'll show the other 4 on Friday.

And finally my husband and I found a white Loropetalum!
I have so much going on in the gardens right now, LOVE this time of the year.

Most of you know that I have been having hip/back/knee issues. The x-ray showed some hip joint issues. The MRI was normal, no pinched nerves. Tomorrow I go for a cortisone hip injection in hopes that it will resolve the pain.  It has made everyday activities extremely difficult.  It is my prayer that the injection will relieve the pain.   Please, if you have had a negative experience with this procedure do not share it with me.

I'm sorry you are still in pain. I hope the injection will help so you can resume evryday life without pain. Lots going on there I'm sure. I love this time of year too. So many flowers to see everywhere. Love the clematis.

Your blooms look amazing! Hope you are feeling strong soon. Just an FYI, if the pain is due to inflammation, tumeric is a natural anti-inflammatory.
Blessings your way,
daisy

I hope the injection helps! I've heard GOOD things about the injection from people I know.
I love that you gave poppy seeds out for as favors! I can't believe they are blooming this early. Mine are barely germinated, in fact I was out looking for them earlier today. Just looking at your pictures I can tell it's nice and warm there.

Sorry to hear you have been so uncomfortable. I think the shots will help. Cortisone is the wonder drug.
Your phlox is very nice. Do you prune it back? Fertilize it? Mine is kind of scraggly looking.
Wonderful full gardens!

Take care. I hope you get some relief from the pain.

You gardens are beautiful. I have some of those poppy seeds that I got from another blogger who got them from Catherine. They are really brightening people's gardens. I'm hoping for blooms this year.

Love that pink creeping phlox! I have the lavender version.

Bless your heart, Darla... I hope that the shot helps your pain. My hubby has constant back pain --and is on medication for it. He can live with it---but it's not easy...

Love your 'cheap' Clematis plants... Gorgeous!!!!! And your Phlox is awesome. We have a little Phlox blooming --but it's not as pretty as yours.

Hugs,
Betsy

Sometimes gardening take away all my stress and make me relaxed, What I enjoyed he most in gardening is when its time for harvesting the crops or tending my beautiful flowers. I enjoyed more in gardening than being in the office doing some paper works :(

Hi Darla. Your creeping phlox is blooming so pretty but I am jealous over your red poppies. I have planted so many seeds and they never come up for me for some reason. Yours looks so lovely in your garden.

I hope the shot helps. I feel for you. I have had shoulder pain for months to the point of stopping me. It is so frustrating. Hope you get some relief. Thank goodness the MRI was normal. That is a good thing but so frustrating when they don't see anything. Praying for you.
