Weather Update and WOYWW...

Linking up with Julia over at Stamping Ground for a look see into crafting/working areas.
With
crazy weather, hip/back/knee issues and sinus difficulties I have been playing and working on my creations..below is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday as of this morning around 12.30...
(couldn't sleep)
Alcohol inked cards, game piece tiles, a 12 x 12 tile re-order tile and two packages ready for pick up.

I tried to capture the hail bouncing on the brick in front of our porch yesterday afternoon.  There are two or three pieces right in the center at the edge of the flowing water, you might have to click on the photo and enlarge to see them.  You could look up the hill and literally see the hail bouncing on the grass as it was falling.

We received over 2 inchs in one hour.

It seems our weather is extreme this year one way or the other....

Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

Your desk looks so neat! The tile looks very cool as does the game tiles. We've been getting rain (southern AZ) but not like yours! We're under flash flood watch today. Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy WOYWW!

I couldn't see the hail on the pavers sorry but I do believe you, it is one really hard thing to capture. Looks like you have done some creative stuff and all the joys of it are on your desk. Lovely, are they postcards, for some reason I couldn't zoom on your image, thanks for sharing.

Hi, Darla, hope you get feeling better soon. Your desk is covered in creativity -- that 12 x 12 to the right looks very interesting. Thanks for already popping over to visit my blog. Happy WOYWW from Laura #112.

We are stuck in heat and humidity right now .. thank god we have AC or I would be totally sick instead of half sick ... I am way behind in writing .. but I will get to it eventually .. hope you are not in too much pain but I know how the weather can make it worse .. take a pill and lay down girl !! LOL

Hi Darla, Strange how some areas are getting too much rain and other, not enough. We got a little rain on Monday night--but we need more.

Great creations.

Happy 4th of July to you and yours. Great post.

Betsy

Loved getting a peek at your desk. Oh please please send some of that rain northwards. This year is crazy with the weather patterns. I'm in NW Ohio and we will hit over 100 again today. That's RARE and to do it 4 times within a few weeks. Yikes! *lol* Thanks for visiting and happy WOYWW to you! Warmly, Tracy

Am glad you had some good rain! We had a little 1/2 inch downfall with hail to boot. No damage in the garden or any trees down so that was a good thing. Humid and nasty out there but it is summer to be expected. I just wish the rains would fall more often so I would not have to drag the hose around all the time....

Holy Tallahassee that's a lot of rain! And hail too. I hope your garden babies are okay. At least you don't have to haul the hose around. How's the humidity? I hope you're feeling better soon. Your crafts look wonderful and remind me of how you never waste a moment. You're always doing. I admire that!

Now that's a neat desk! Cool projects on it.

We get golf ball size hail here so I know what you mean about it "bouncing" off the bricks.

I was out celebrating Independence Day yesterday so am just now getting around.

Happy WOYWW

The picture of the rain makes me so happy for you! We are bone dry here and it is looking rough.

I certainly wouldn’t care for the hail, but a couple of inches of slow steady rain would be divine!

Fabby projects on your desk.

I think your photos of the wet stuff are pretty much universal these days, aren't they? You could just as easily have been here in the UK!

Hope you're feeling better....

Wonderful pendants Darla! Your wildflowers are beautiful. have heard the same story about planting pink and white bleeding hearts near each other. The white ones will eventually become pink.

The trumpet lilies are lovely. They really stand out. Funny about the squirrels and the sunflowers. Another one about to be a senior.
