Update: For those of you that remember my son was beat in the head with an AK 47 Assualt Rifle in January during a home invasion, he and his friend had to go to the police station today to view a line up. I don't know if it was a photo line up or a people line up. Will let you know. For those of you that want to read the story you can go to my archives for January, it's under more important than gardening.

Beautiful skies there on Mother's Day Darla! Hope all goes well with son's visit to the station. I'm sure it is hard to have to keep reliving that moment. Take care.
I went back and read all about it Darla and I am horrified! I can't believe people can do that to other people. I hope your son is doing OK and it wasn't too traumatic for him to go down to the police station. By the way, the SkyWatch pictures are gorgeous!
Pretty pretty skies, Darla!
Hope they catch the bad guy or guys that hurt your son!!
Take care and Happy SWF!!
Lovely sky photo for Mothers Day. Sorry about your son. Hope he was able to identify the person. That is a horrible thing to have happen. You son is OK? I too have been a victim of a violent crime and it was scary for me not knowing when he would be caught. Mine turned out OK - he got life.
Hope these beautiful skies bring you peaceful days ahead. Thinking good thoughts for your son and hoping those terrible people are caught!!
Hi Darla, I hope and pray that the gusy who were involved in that Home Invasion are CAUGHT and PUNISHED --for a long, long time!!!!
Beautiful Sky pictures...
Hugs,
Betsy
I just read it too Darla. Sweetheart, I can't imagine anyone doing that to my sons. I hope that they give these guys all the jail time that can possibly be given. I am just enjoying your beautiful photos right now. You've made my day a bright one with your lovely blog.
I had no idea your son was beat up. So sad and awful! I am glad he is fine and hope the line up went okay.
Hi Darla~~ I too didn't know about your son's assault. What an awful thing to go through, for not just your son but for you as a mother. It would be very difficult not to be angry and want to lash out. I'm sure God is giving you the grace you need. And I'm glad he's okay.
Beautiful skies!
You got a couple of great sky pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us. I hope the lineup means the thugs have been caught.
Hey Darla, Is he doing ok? I have been meaning to ask you. I hope they were able to identify them. Does that mean that they just now found them? I remember...that was horrible.
I hope they let you have some talk time with the nuts. They don't know what fear is when a mother sees her children hurt.

Darla: Neat skies and wonderful to hear that they may have caught those people.
Darla, I hope your son is doing well and that the guilty ones are punished.
The skywatch pictures are pretty and I'm really hoping they find the guys who hurt your son. I can't imagine your worry. That is so awful.
Hope all is well with your son. Tragic what people do to others.
What a beautiful end to Mother's day...
What a horrible thing to happen to your son !! Hope that the lineup was successful and they get the people that did this...

Wow, that's a horrifying thing that happened to your son. I hope you can at least take comfort from the fact that it seems to have been a random attack; if your son was not specifically targeted by people who hate him, that means he's not at high risk of having the same thing happen agin. (Most violent attacks like this that I personally tend to hear about are perpetrated by homophobes against gay people, and there is always the fear that the first time won't be the last.)
Beautiful pictures. So sorry about your ordeal for your son. I hope it all works out.
