Shrimp Plant is beginning to bloom
White Zinnia
How did this guy sneak in here?Nastrutium
I thought after two weeks of rain I had lost the Strawflowers...They seem to appreciate the sun.
I have a few different types of Zinnias...I just love this color one.
Balloon Flower is open. Jean did you send me these seeds? I have confused myself with my organizational skills as of late!
Forget Me Nots, Cosmos and some Purple Coneflowers.
Lacecap Hydrangea
Begonia - Get on over to http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com for more Bloomin' Tuesday.
I have received two awards in the last couple of days..! Thank you Karrita from http://mymothersgardens.blogspot.com/ for this One Lovely Blog Award.
Thank you Patsy from http://bennie-thesmiths.blogspot.com/ for the Uplifting Blogger Award.
I do appreciate that some of you believe that my blog is worthy of awards and I do appreciate them. This time of the year is pretty busy, so I may not get to pass them along. Not only that, it's getting tough to pick only a few. I believe everyone who takes the time to blog and visit is worthy. Thank you again, Karrita and Patsy!

happy Tuesday and congrat's on your award.

You deserve all the awards. Your flowers are outstanding. One day I am going to join that blooming Tuesday. How do I do that? I have 3 little GC today and we may go to the movies. I would rather be outside but that is what they prefer. So off to the movies we go! I do love the popcorn and its 1.00 day at our movies!
Your zinnias are so perfect looking, everything is just lovely! Was that a damsel or dragonfly? It was pretty but intimidating at the same time- lol! HOpe he doesn't bite!
Congratulations on the awards. You DO deserve them!
Is that a dragonfly? Love it. And those straw flowers. Never seen them before.
Gorgeous blooms!
Beautiful blooms! Love the Shrimp Plant :)
Congrats on your awards!!
You DO have a lovely blog, and you deserve the award. Beautiful colors today!!!
The lacecap hydrangeas are spectacular. I wish we had more shade to add them to our gardens. Maybe in time. Everything looks great Darla!
Hi Darla, you have lots of amazing blooms. Have a great week.
Darla: Beautiful flower as usual, I really liked the dragonfly. That is a great photo.
BTW: A tough What Is It today, partly up your alley. Try it.
Congrats on the award! Your blog is uplifting...and your flowers always make me smile and so does the dragonfly. Have a good week...gail
As aways a feast for the eyes!!! (GREAT dragonfly closeup:)
Darla...
I'm envious..my Zinnias are just coming up...last year they lasted until October...
I love your new pool picture on the sidebar! Are those all of your kids?
Your flowers are looking great, and the dragonfly picture looks really good enlarged!
Congrats on your awards!
I thought my shrimp plant was a goner, but it is making a comeback. Mine is yellow. Everything is looking great! As usual. I took tons of dragonfly pics yesterday
What gorgeous photos today. The calla lily is lovely. I always consider zinnias a casual, cottage garden flower but the white is very elegant. It would look outstanding in the most formal of gardens.
Marnie
Hi!
All of them are beutiful!! Haven' t seen any Strawflowers around here. I'll have to check and see if i can find some. Have a great day!
Sherrie
lookin good!!! I have never seen a shrimp plant before...I think I like it!
found that my grape vines did not make it this year...so I will have to carefully dig them out and put something else in their places....grrr....I just finished planting, AND when I checked them, they had buds...but have since kicked the bucket. We had a long cold winter, and my roses didn't make it either!
That's a great photo of the dragonfly! I love the color of the dark pink/coral Zinnia, as well as the first Calla. Everyone has so many flowers--I have cactus flowers, but not much else going on in my garden. It's just too hot already.

The Lacecap Hydrangea is very attractive. My shrimps are starting to bloom as well. How long will your nasturtiums last? Mine are done for the season.
Darla, I do believe I sent the baloon flower seeds. Mine aren't blooming yet, they usually bloom late summer. I love the color of your zinnia too! The dragon fly pic is awesome! Happy Bloomin' Tuesday! Jean
Your flowers look great.I never seem to have luck with zinnias for some reason.
And the sun is back after all that rain.Yea!
Beautiful Darla.... I love that white Zinnia. Don't think I've ever seen white ones before.
I have Begonias.. They do well here in Summer/Fall with almost no care, other than water.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Betsy
Your flowers are beautiful! My favorite is the shrimp plant. I have never seen that and it is most unusual!
Congrats on the awards Darla! I love your Calla lilies. They must stay in bloom for quite a while. I may have to get some after looking at yours ove the weeks. See what you started Darla ;-) I have never grown straw flowers either. You have so many different kinds of flowers.I love visiting your garden.

All of your flowers look great. Lucky you! I haven't even planted any annael yet.
Hi Darla, It is lovely to see the delightful flower borders in your garden. It is a credit to your diligence and artistic flair with growing plants. The Rose with the lost tag looks to me like "Double Delight" does that ring a bell? I think the little guy owns the garden. Have happy summer days.
As always your blooms are wonderful Darla. I'm glad the Strawflower survived all that rain you got in the past couple of weeks. Some flowers just love the heat of summer like those gorgeous zinnias of yours! ;)
Wow. You really have some beautiful flowers. My shrimp plant did not come back this year. I am surprised because it did really well last year. Perhaps it was too cold of a winter for it??? Congratulations on your awards. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous blooms with us.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Love seeing pictures of your Calla Lillies. Congartulations on your award!

Hi Darla, you do have a lovely blog--your garden is so alive, blooming with such color and I'm sure the scent is intoxicating as well! It must be almost overwhelming to the senses to see it all in person...in a good way, of course! You have such variety--it's all beautiful;-) Jan
Oh so lovely! It's so interesting to see what you've got in bloom there! The dragonfly is a sweet addition to the flowers :)
oooh, that shrimp plant is beautiful. I've never seen/grown it before. Everything is so pretty Darla. The callas are amazing ~ I bet they overwinter for you there??
