(wet) Bloomin' Tuesday

It's time to join Jean for Bloomin' Tuesday ...Courtesy of Tropical Storm Debby the first photo was taken from the back door of our kitchen looking onto our upper deck.

This photo was taken from the front porch (as were the other two this morning)

It's been raining since Sunday morning early
The big green bush in the center is a Lacecap Hydrangea..
sigh..

I’m sure your flowers are LOVING the delicious nitrogen rich rain. We could really use a few days of slow steady rain around here. The only things thriving in the heat are some beautiful purple coneflowers someone sent me. :0)

Been wondering about all my Florida buddies, hope the rains stop soon. Stay dry.

We have the opposite problem... It's too DRY and HOT here. We need some of your rain!!!!

Your yard and flowers ---and WEEDS (ha)---will love that rain you are getting. Just hope you don't have any flooding.
Hugs,
Betsy

I am sorry about so much rain at once. I dont know what is worse, too much rain or not enough. Both a sad time for a gardener. I hope things perk back up for you soon. We are getting some of Debbys winds today but no rain. Your washers are looking grand. Love your Hibiscus below!

At least, you won't have to water them today;-) Your yard is beautiful, rain or shine!

I'm sure the rain is welcome but still, it would be nice if you could get out and putter now and then. :) Hopefully Debby will move on soon. I love the shot of your mailbox border. All those coneflowers are amazing.

Just keep focusing on how much you're saving on watering! Hope it gets sunnier there soon!

I hope you don't get TOO much of a good thing (rain). Wish you could send some our way. Your garden looks lush and lovely, Darla. The breadseed poppies you gave me (seed) are coming up and one is almost ready to bloom. Thank you.
