It's time for the midweek peek at work spaces over a WOYWW . My temporary work space..last night I worked on stamped and inked washers for pendants some plastic fragments for pendants and a door hanger for a little girls's nursery. Perhaps I'll actually finish some of these today.

hi, you asked about the distress inks. Im a real fan, I love the pads and use them loads, I have just got a few bottles of the distress inks as well, they are great for colouring big areas, more versatile than i thought they would be, still finding my way really though. but no complaints yet,I guess it depends what you use them for.

Nothing is blooming in my garden when it is suppose to this year. And even odder, my Knock Out roses have STOPPED blooming. That’s almost unheard of for those things. I guess it makes for nice surprises though. Maybe my irises will surprise me and bloom. I missed them so much this spring.
I'm like you, I will take any bloom, any time of year, I don't care.
Actually my Amaryillis bloomed on the coast in the summer all the time. They would bloom at Christmas, and then if the bulb had enough energy they would rebloom again in summer. Feed it well, it's tired now.

Busy, busy! How do you get it all done??? Beautiful amaryllis! My sister has some like this that bloomed much earlier.
I noticed some of my 'Naked Ladies' blooming the other day and I thought it was much earlier than usual.
I love your pendants. I think it's best to keep going when you're in the zone of getting things started -- that way on a day when you can't bear starting something new, you'll have something in progress to finish. :) Happy crafting and happy gardening. ~ Laura #127 (Thanks for already popping over for a visit.)
Well done! Are those pendants going to be for sale on your etsy site? They're very pretty!
Its a Tom Jones.....

Hello Darla, thanks for calling in on the Doodly Birds. It's the first time I've seen anything like your pendant rings so I am intrigued to see what happens next.

Love the idea of using the washers - would like to see the final results. Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #87 x
Holy Cow girl !!!
I don't know anything about these plants when they are actually growing in a garden so I wouldn't know if this time of years was strange .. but you are surprised so it must be strange ?
It is a beauty though .. like a candy cane ! .. I bought a little Alberta Spruce to have on our deck .. I am already trying to have plants that will be hanging in through the winter time ? LOL

That's a lovely candy-striped amaryllis, even if it is blooming out of season. Enjoy!
Really love the Amaryllis blooming at this time of year.
Sorry to hear about your late husband, think you all were stationed near Charleston? We are up near Asheville, in the Upstate.
Love your crafting mat, I need a new one, Think I'll have blue next time. Lovely flower pictures too! Happy WOYWW

That bloom would pass for a lily (without seeing the rest of the plant. Gorgeous.... Beautiful colors.

How funny about the Amaryllis. My grandmother used to have Christmas cactus that bloomed in June, so you know.... can't trust that nature to do as she's told. All your washer bits and pieces look great. I peeked at the finished one in your next post and it is fabulous.
Nice Painting Collection..
Those pendants are gorgeous
