What a great post today Darla of the blooms opening. Your Brazillion Pink Flame 'Jacobina' is very unusual, not something I've grown before. Gorgeous bloom! And the Society Garlis is something I must try in my garden next season, I adore lavender blooms in the garden. Your "time lapse" of the Marigold was spectacular. She's a beauty as well. :)
These are beautiful! I have always loved marigolds, even though they don't have a pleasant odor...I think they are in the sneezeweed family and that makes sense. But they are so beautiful, and help repel certain insects I have heard.
The Marigold presentation is wonderful. I have never seen anything us unique as that. I am not at all familiar with the Society Garlis - thanks for bringing it to my attention. Sweetie
Hello Darla, I love the pictures of the different steps in the Marigold opening! What great photos! I have lots of Society Garlic too. It adds color to places where there isn't any! It also keep the gophers away and I like that! Your Brazillion is very pretty, I don't have one of those! Happy Blooming Tuesday, Love, Ann
Love these photos! It's fun to see the process of the blooms. I can't believe your pots in the post above! I am so bad a watering mine don't do too well. Great Bloomin' Tuesday post! Jean

Sometimes the buds are as nice as the flowers, and then afterward, the dried flowers or pods are also attractive little bonuses. Great photos.
