(Here's the reply the teacher received the following day)
Dear Mrs.. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.
From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely, Mrs.. Smith

We have all been there ,maybe different story or circumstances but always highly embarrassed by our off spring!
OH my word! I can so relate. I nearly fell on the floor laughing.
That is funny! I received that email too!
Oh how cute, Darla.... I loved it!!!! I taught school for several years---so I was one of those teachers who heard MUCH more about a child's family than the family ever wanted me to know!!!!
Love that picture.
Hugs,
Betsy
Now that was funny!
I so needed to have a laugh that started at my frozen toes and worked its way up! How absolutely innocent from a child's perspective, and yet..... so clearly not so from an adults! We all need to find the child within us again. Thank you for my Thursday chortle!
ROFL! That is hilarious!
:-D
This is great! Needed that laugh.
