Edible Bird's Nest

Gift from our Pastor

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  I do believe this Easter was one of the best ever!  Although it was the first time in 27 years that I did not hide eggs for anyone, sniff, sniff....

I wanted to share the edible bird's nests that our youngest daughter and I made as favors for our Church's Easter Brunch.
And no I did not get this idea from Pinterest.  (I do not pin, but I do spend a lot of time looking at boards)
My 27 year old daughter's first grade teacher shared this idea with me over 20 years ago.  This could be used with many different themes.
I'll be back tomorrow to join Jean for Bloomin' Tuesday.

Darla, Happy Easter, although a day late for me...

Those are lovely, what wonderful little favours you have created.

I did see those on Pinterest, lol, but that's not a bad thing at all. After all every duck has to have it's space in the pond.

Darla girl ! It sounds like you had a great weekend .. hiding or not hiding eggs ;-)
Hey .. thank you for that idea girl ! .. now once I get the rest of the root out .. take away any sour soil and replace it with nice fresh soil around the edges of the bench, I should be able to grow a few plants there still ? right ?
Joy .. bet you saw Y&R by now with the baby??
