Weekend Garden Parties and a New Blogger

Linking up with Tracie over at Fishtail Cottage and Tootsie for the weekend garden parties.

Hubby has some raspberries...

Hummingbird Bush, I forget it's real name, in the blue bottle garden.

The Lacecap Hydrangeas are so pretty.

Silver Falls Dichondra is taking over my block wall.. over look the bright sunshine.
Here's a tangled mess of Silver Falls....
Crown of Thorns

I cut a few Mophead Hydrangeas to bring inside.  This one is in the foyer.

This one is in the half bath.
Today is the last official day of the school year!!!!!!!  Hooray!!!!!

If you have a minute please drop by and say hi to my daughter, she is a newbie blogger. I'll have to say though her post today is questionable to being blog worthy, lol.

I have never heard of Hummingbird Bush! How cool for the hummers to enjoy. They seem to be hitting plants in our gardens more so then the sugar water. That is a good thing... Love your Hydrangea. I need to snap a pic of Endless Summer as she is glowing right now…

Hi Darla Dear, The Crown of Thorns is very intriguing to me. I love the color and the shape of the petals. Figures it's not hardy here. I'll visit Amanda and see what's going on.

Hi Darla, I love the crown of thorns and your hydrangeas! I am looking forward to the hydrangeas in my garden; some got nipped by the frost but there will definitely be some blooms.
Blessings, Beth

Look at those raspberries--yum! We had our very first strawberry this week, which is super early for here--no ripe raspberries in sight yet. Your flowers are so beautiful, and I really like the interesting container your have for your block wall-really a neat idea!

Hi Darla! I would love to have such hydrangea in my garden! Our soil is very acid, so all my plants give blue flowers.

The Lacecaps look so delicate. I have some Oakleaf that are finally looking like they've settled in but no blooms yet. I love all Hydrangeas and especially love your idea of bringing those Mopheads into the house. That block wall is looking good too - nice and full.

I can never decide if I like the lacecap or the mop head hydrangeas the best. They are each so lovely. I love the color of your lacecap. Last day of school? Then summer is officially here! :)
