It's Nice To Be Home...

Well it's 10:14 p.m. now.. The one thing about having so many flowers and using a sprinkler or spray nozzle to water them is, if you go out of town - you spend the first couple of hours watering flowers when you get home and praying they make it. Will survey them tomorrow. We had a wonderful trip thanks for the comments and well wishes. More on the trip later. Right now, does anyone know who this guy is? Yes, we went to Biloxi. This statue has survived all of the devastation that Mississippi has endured over the last few years and from the photos it must be an important one. Forgive my knowledge, or lack of, about this. If anyone knows the history please share it. (I didn't get to go up to it, took the pictures from the truck)

Welcome home! Glad you got home safely. I don't know who the statue is representing but I'm sure someone will write and tell you. One of our presidents, Jefferson Davis, had a home there on the coast. It might be him. I think they still maintain the home and give tours of it.
