September Blooms

This is the first I've heard of posting your blooms every month on the 15th. I think this is great. I don't know if there is a link or banner for this, if you know please pass the info to me. I did read that http://maydreamsgardens.blogspot.com/ started this monthly posting. Drop by and see her blooms for the month. So here are some of my blooms that I photographed this morning.

Purple Fan Flower, colors are fading in the summer heat.

Wishbone, Magenta. I have Wishbones all over the place.

My Vinca colors..Dark Pink.White. Purple. A hint of pink/peach.
Blue Daze. Cat Whiskers, this plant has really impressed me with the size and the continuous blooming. Purple Butterfly Bush.Blackeyed Susan.Firebush.Pineapple Sage just about to open.Different shades of pink Celosia.Purslane. Marigold. Sedum, thanks fishing guy for setting me straight on this one.Pink Blush--HypoestesLantanaPorterweed is still happy. Cypress Vine still going strong.Purple Coneflower.

Pinta. Purple Verbena, someone called it Homestead Verbena.
Pink Verbena. Moss Rose is just about to call it quits for the season.Wax Begonia ...and a white Petunia I photograhed in black and white.

We do have a lot of flowers in common, but then you also have some fabulous flowers that would be unhappy in Tennessee! Lovely post!

Love your flowers! What is a Wishbone flower? I've never seen this before! Beautiful!

You ceertainly still have lots of colour in your garden.

You know you can get rid of all those large spaces between photos by using the back space bar between the photos.

okie dokie barbara, I did know that I could use the back space bar, didn't give it too much thought today between cleaning floors, doing laundry and making a homemade pineapple cheesecake. Thanks, I fixed it and it does look better. All helpful hints needed.

Such great variety. I've never tried growing wishbone; that looks like a very pretty flower.

Looks like a lot has survived those storms in Florida. You took the cypress from further away this time, it is what we call the Hummingbird Vine. Thought it was the other day but your photo was so close, couldn't tell for sure. Great photos.
