Still Blooming Tuesday

One of my favorites (I have so many), Brazillion Red Hot. I cannot believe I just saw this blooming in my yard...a Miniature Azalea.......uh, what's the date?

The Azalea is beautiful and the pictures of it show its uniqueness. I have never seen a Brazillion Red Hot before - or if I did, I could not identify it. Nice post.

Love the leaf colors on the "Red Hot". It is a strange time for an azalea to bloom. The color is amazing! Beautiful! Jean

I have an Encore Azalea, it is in full bloom right now. I am terrible, have not even taken a photo of it.

Go back to Woody's Place to see my answer to your comment.

Wow your azalea is really late or maybe you are getting a second bloom from it. the "red hot" is a neat looking plant.

What a nice surprise! I have an azalea I rarely get to see flower. These silly men who take care of the gardening for our complex keeps cutting it back before it flowers!!!!

Thank you all for the nice comments on my flowers..all of the flowers I photograph are in my yard. I did not know that my Azalea would be blooming now, normally they are the first to bloom in spring. Love Surprises like that!

Love your flowers, Darla. You have a lot of them! Some Azaleas will bloom again in the fall.

Well, I certainly learned something here. I didn't know azaleas sometimes re-bloomed in fall. My neighbor's wisteria started re-blooming (really blooming; it got cut off with a spring frost) in August. A gardener from the west of England told me they often re-bloom in her area. Who knew? Isn't the Web a great place to find things out?
