Yesterday

Trying to decide what to practice...
She's trying!

It is an absolute joy when I find moments like this!! Helping each other practice the piano, because they wanted to.

This guy actually turned his head to look at me........

Now the Bromeliad is really starting to open, it will look like talons when completely open. I need to put it back on a table it hangs so low, the blooms will just lay on the ground. How do you put these in the ground?

He looks quite relaxed on this Verbena leaf.

Purple Verbena in another one of my hanging containers. (yeah there's a lovebug in there)

My husband felt the need to rescue this skink out of the pool, took him awhile to dry out.

Hi Darla,
Thanks for the visit and your kind words. I remember practicing the piano (by myself) when I was young. My brothers would just turn the tv up louder. Dad always said, "She may not play good, but she sure can play loud." I actually thought this was funny.

I always wanted to learn how to play the piano but no go on lessons. :) My boys play the guitar & bass guitar. Love that Homestead Verbena as a hanging container plant.

Guess what? The girls do not take Piano lessons, they are actually teaching themselves, Raechel the 12year old started playing the flute in 6th grade, (last year) and it's the same flute her dad played in the 6th grade, we had it restored for her. Isn't that special?

I love the pics of the girls helping each other. I remember those days of practicing piano. I hated it. I wish I had learned and practiced more now.

Haha, maybe you could start a "Spot the Lovebug" photo series.

And years ago I tried teaching myself how to play the keyboard, but I just didn't have the will power to continue. I need a teacher to make sure I practice everyday!
