Your tree skirt is really cute Darla. :) I love all the unique ornaments that you have hanging on the tree. Isn't it fun to collect stuff over the years? Whether they be family heirlooms or handmade treasures from your children. Priceless memories all the same.
I commented to Wicked Gardener's comment on her blog, I will tell the rest of you, this is an excellent cookie and Heck no, I did not let the kids help me drizzle....I was having WAY too much fun........they do love the way they taste though. The sugar cookie with the dark and white chocolate..........it's gonna cause me to exercise.
I am enjoying seeing others' decorations. We haven't had a tree for 5 years because of our dog, and now, our grandson is pulling up on things, and we really don't have a good place to put a tree.
Hi Darla, it is always a lovely and exiting time when one can take out all the Christmas decorations to fill the house with a festive air. Dear Darla I wish you and your family a very happy Christmas.
I love all the traditional ornaments given and created over the years too.I kept the ones the kids made in school many years ago, not for me the colour coordinated trees you see in the magazines. Best Wishes Peggy

Darla: What neat ornaments you have on your tree.
Darla: I forgot to tell you I thought we already had enough Winter this Fall with 18" of snow already.
Wow! I love your Christmas Tree, specially the skirt and the candy cane.
Merry Christmas to you all :)
Thanks for showing us your lovely tree! I like the two-faced Santa the best - har har har!
Did you cross-stitch that one ornament? I love to cross-stitch, when I can find the time!
I notice you have changed from flowers to Christmas tree. Did your flowers finally stop blooming, or are you just staying inside?

Great post!
