Today's Flowers

Homestead Verbena........has stayed green all year and is now starting to bloom again. Blueberry--yummy, can't wait!
Pear tree,,,,,,,,,oh, those pear pies!

Wow, lovely blooms for you. Our flowering pear (no fruit) has yet to pop so it's nice to see yours. And the candytuft looks great too. Yay spring.

I like the tall verbena which I call Garden Verbena. It has the same bloom color but gets to 5 feet tall. Looks really good in a cottage garden. I don't have a pear tree but sure would love one. I'm getting excited too and can't wait for my bloomers. So much work to do yet---I'm ready though.

Hey Darla, I cannot get over how pretty your candy tuft is... Ours still looks like alot of winter is still ahead of us. Of course days like today tell us it's still winter ---snow and highs in the 20's.. Brrrrr.

Have I ever told you that we have blueberry bushes. We just got them mulched the other day. Ours start bearing around June. My grandchildren love to pick them. I usually freeze several quarts and use in different recipes in the winter. I make blueberry muffins alot. You sure make me long for springtime!

I'm jealous!! You have BLUEBERRIES!! I had the best blueberry shrubs at my old house. They produced great every year. We moved 3 years ago and I haven't had a chance to establish any here yet. Man, do I miss them!!
