We are back from our trip and boy howdy did it rain in Mississippi while we were there and boy howdy did it rain here at home while we were gone! We had to come back a little early due to the fact that the pump in the crawl space could not keep up with the water coming in. We had some water in the basement to clean up. Hubby spent most of the weekend working downstairs. Of course on one of his runs to Lowe's I managed to pick up a few things.

Welcome back, although I am sorry to hear about the water in the basement. It looks as if you got some great purchases at Lowe's. The temperatures here are supposed to be in mid-twenties for the next two nights. We're trying to figure out how to protect the roses.
WOnderful choices for your garden. I have never seen this Tiny Tim Euphorbia. I will have to look that up at my local nursery.
Happy Spring - we are getting snow!
Sorry to hear about the flooding and rain. Hope you didn't have much damage. I'm glad you made the trip with him and found all those pretty new plants!
Awe Shucks, Darla. Sorry your Miss. trip was cut short. Sorry also you got water in the basement. But--all in all, I hope you two had a great week apart from the kids!!!!
Beautiful flowers. I especially like the Tiny Tim Euphorbia. Neat little plant--and such cute blossoms.
Have a great day.
Let's hope for no damage here the next couple of days due to the upcoming freeze.
Hugs,
Betsy
Welcome back! We have certainly had a lot of rain in the southeast this spring! More today...so sorry about the sump pump problems. Great finds t Lowes...ours doesn't sell anything as fantastic as the beauties you brought home...gail
Had to get all the plants in a safe place like covering them and putting them in the house and garage. It is going to get cold here in Arkansas. This should be the last of the winter blast. Hope, hope

Welcome home. And just think---if the basement wasn't flooded then there would have been no trip to get plants. When we do a project, it takes at least 5 trips to the hardware store. You needed the rain though--right? I do love that you bought more PW's.
Darla: Welcome back, I hope you had a great time even with the rain. I always enjoy your flower show.
I especially like Peters Gold Carpet. All of them are beautiful. Good camera. Isn't it a shame that we are having another cold snap. My place in Citronelle (N Mobile) we are expecting 2 nights of the cold weather. People kept telling me we'd have one more before Easter. Well I didn't believe them. The only thing I'm concerned with is my squash plants and peaches. Anyway have a good day.
I'm glad you had a nice trip...sorry about the rain. I love all of your new blooms...I don't have the fuschia or euphorbia, but would like to try the euphorbia, it's beautiful.
Just wanted to let you know I've entered you 6 times in my giveaway, which I'll post about later today with the winner's name;-)
Looks like you will be happily planting these beauties in your garden soon too! ;) Tiny Tim is a interesting looking Euphorbia! Welcome Back Darla!
Wow....you have a basement? You really do live up north!
I wonder if you took just our blog community and added up how much money we all spend at Lowes for garden stuff.................?

Nice to have you back.
I have May Night and it does attract butterflies. For some reason I always thought delphinium was a cool climate plant. I'm surprised it does so beautifully in your area. That one is the prettiest color of blue.

Dennis: I don't want to know what I spend at Lowes!! My husband likes to shop there too so it's pretty bad around here!
Hi Darla, Welcome back. Hope you get your basement dried out. It has been raining a bit.
You got such a nice variety from Lowes! All are pretty choices!
Hope you had a great holiday even though you had to come back early. Like your new photo header and love all the photos you put up this week so many to look at plus all the information as well!
So I want to know where you were in my state young lady!!! Yes, I know I'm being nosey but I'm a blogger friend so I'm allowed!
Looks like you got some great plants for your garden. I've been out in mine this afternoon covering things since we too are expecting low 30's tonight and tomorrow. Brrh!!!
They are all just beautiful! I think we got over 13 inches of rain in 2 days. I'm glad it finally stopped!
Glad your yard didn't wash away. Like the new Tiny Tim.
