Show and Tell Friday

This is my first Show and Tell Friday. I have been looking at this meme for several weeks now and there are some amazing things shared. Don't know how often I will participate just being flooded with emotion this season. To join or just view what others are sharing click http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/ So many of my blogger friends have already seen some of my late Mother's crafts, be patient, here are a few more, with a little tidbit at the bottom that you didn't know.
Angels--I see I must glue the flowers back on.

Cute little Reindeer

Precious Rocking Horse
My sister-in-law made this and I love it, (even though we don't speak to each other). I have several of her wonderful handmade crafts.
My brother and his wife have a store in North Carolina and a website with just the most amazing crafts. Visit them at http://www.splintersandrags.com/ . If you click on the left sidebar on their website, About Me, you will see my precious nephew that we lost at age 3 to Steven Johnson Syndrome. A reaction to Children's Motrin.

Hi Darla...

Your mom's decorations are gorgeous, especially the angels, that I am particularly fond of.

Sorry to hear about your nephew, although I didn't see anything about him in your ABOUT ME. I, too, lost a nephew about a year ago...3 months old. I sure know your pain.

~Blessings,
Jan

Wow, what a gifted family you have. Aren't these hand made items so much nicer than store things? What treasures.

My heart aches for your nephew. {hug}

Hi Darla...can I just say I love your name??!! :) Very cute show and tell. I'm very sorry to hear about little Brody. I have said a prayer for all affected by this loss, and asked God for peace, comfort, healing, and strength for you all. He alone knows how deep the pain and sorrow is. Tender, gentle blessings to you all.

Your precious treasures are wonderful, especially what your Mom made! How sad about Brody! We know some people who recently caught their barely three-year-old son drinking out of a children's Motrin bottle, and they didn't even call poison control. We were staying in the house at the time, and I kept expecting to hear an ambulance all night, I was so worried! May God ease their loss over time...I know it must be unfathomably difficult to lose a child! How very very heartbreaking!

Dear Darla,
I also treasure the crafts my Mother made. When I decorate for Christmas I enjoy unwrapping them and setting them out. The angels your Mother made are so special. Having the little things about reminds me my parents are only a thought away.
I understand the pain of losing a child. My Grandson died in 2002 at age 4. We miss him.
Blessings,
Sherry
