No Longer Frustrated....

I did get a good nights sleep and someone apparently prayed as well. Thank you wherever you are. I did have some frustrating moments yesterday, glad I didn't vent because I would have put words out there that I could not have taken back and would have gotten in the Lord's way. That would not have been good! In the whole scheme of things, I have a very blessed life, healthy happy family and my husband "still" has a great job. I am learning sometimes it's better to be silent, turn it over to a higher power and give Thanks in ALL things.

(remember I said, learning, have not completely learned)

Glad you are feeling less frustrated, Darla. I did say a prayer for you. I know it's hard but sometimes it is better to step back away from the situation and take a deep breath. A good night's sleep will do wonders!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Darla,
I'm glad you're feeling better, and I'm happy that I read this post today! It reminded me that sometimes it's better not to open up my mouth and throw words out there that I can't take back, and throw stones in the path. Thank you for that!

So glad you are better today. It is so hard to not use our mouth to spurt out our frustrations. God is good and will keep you. Hugs

Here's to a better day toady and always. This quote was on another blog the other day:

“This Christmas, may you find luxury in simplicity, light in the darkest places, and may you have blessings that endure times of change.”
I like this all year round.

I'm glad today is a better day. I am much too quick to speak and almost always regret it later;)

A good night's sleep always helps. Sometimes things are just out of our control. When I pray, I try not to pray for things I want or for things to change. I pray for the strength to see me through the challenge ahead. I figure God has a plan, who am I to change His mind? Just help me get through it.

Glad you are feeling better. :)

i guess i missed something but glad you are in a better way today. life is full of frustration but it is what we do with it in the long run. even if our initial thoughts aren't the best. you did give it over to God and that is important. remember to feed your spirit man as much if not more than your flesh man. we are all on a journey to learn, learn , learn.

I'm glad you are having a better day Darla. Sometimes it is best just to keep our mouths closed. I understand that sometimes it is hard to do.

Hi Darla, we all know those moments. You are the bravest because you have conquered yourself which is not an easy task, many people never reach it.

Lord, Darla. If I had a nickel for everytime I popped off when I should have just kept my mouth shut I would be a rich man. It took me a few years, but I finally learned. I don't know what the source of your stress was, but I can tell you it's a global thing and everyone is feeling the same things right now. I read something a few weeks ago that has really helped me. "Life isn't as serious as my mind makes it out to be." That statement can be applied to so many different situations. Rest is very important to keep those nerve impulses traveling right. Glad you are feeling better. :-)

It's hard sometimes to not give in to our frustrations and aggravations, etc. Whatever was bothering you, I pray that God has given you peace. It sounds like He is. I have so much to be thankful for, and yet sometimes I get frustrated with my situation, not having our own place, not finding a job, husband not finding better job, etc etc etc (as Yul Brenner would say!) But, God has recently provided us with a temporary place where we can go, be together and actually have our own roof over our heads for a while, and I am so happy He has provided for us at a time when it is so desperately needed! We'll find another house later, and for now, enjoy this haven. God bless you and yours this holiday season....And your brother and his wife are still as always in my prayers for the peace and comfort they so desperately need!!!!!

We are all learning. Last week me, this week you.

Be watching the mail.

We found out Wendy's baby is a boy!!! Go visit her, her excitement is contagious! My cell was not working when she found out, and it was 3 hours before she could get to me. Should have heard her!

Hi Darla, a good lesson for everyone, patience and sometimes keeping thoughts unsaid, good for all situations. BTW, your bloom days post was wonderful, I feel those ornamental cabbages are just like flowers.

Hi Darla,
I remember being a bit confused when I read the end of your GBBD post. I said a quick prayer then, but by the time I wrote my comment, I had forgotten about it. What I did do when I went to bed, was said a blanket prayer for all the bloggers I have met.

You have set a good example for me, because something very small happened to me with a co-worker who does not always pull her weight, and I got more irritated than the situation warranted.

God Bless! Sue
