Show and Tell Friday

This is a Show and Tell because this idea came form my son's 4-k class 18 years ago. I still have his packed up. This is a more recent one.
Here is a cute little craft to keep the children busy for a little while. You need a brown paper sack. Draw or trace a Gingerbread Man and cut it out.

Draw and cut while the bag is folded closed, then you will have the two pieces that you need.
Gather up glue, paint, markers, crayons.....whatever you want to use. I use fabric paint.
Glue the two Gingerbread Men together. Around the entire legs, sides and tops of arms. DO NOT glue the head.
Then decorate however you desire. Fill with favorite candy!!

This was a rush post! You get the idea right? For more Show and Tell Friday, drop by http://kellishouse.blogspot.com

That is very cute. I always like things like that for my grandchildren to do when they are over.

I did this craft when I was teaching elementary grades. The candy idea is great---

we stuffed the gingerbread men with cotton batting and the glued the head shut, added a string and it became a tree ornament.

Great post! Thanks:)

Cute craft idea, Darla. I think I will make them a little smaller and do like Linda suggests-stuff them and close the head with a string for hanging. My granddaughters will enjoy making their own ornaments. i will have them make at least 2 a piece so that I can keep one for my tree. Happy Holidays!
