Bloomin' Tuesday...(some)

Here are some of the flowers that I have blooming right now. With an expected cold snap I will be covering plants and bringing containers in. We all know there is always one last cold snap before Easter........why don't we listen?

My Dad gave me a cutting from one of my Mom's climbing roses last year, here it is still in the container.

My Clematis is doing quite well.

Yellow Snapdragons have finally decided to give us a show.

Hypoestes-Pink Blush is coming back.

Dianthus-Sweet William

White Petunias with Pink Dianthus

Tagetes-Marigold

I have my first Purple Coneflower bud of the year.

Salvia-Hot Lips

The colors of the Gerbera Daises will be a surprise because I rescued them from the snares of my Dad's lawn mower blades!

Yarrow

Cleome

You have so much blooming. Many of the things blooming now in your garden won't bloom until July here;)

I know I am ready for Easter to come and go then! This freeze warning stuff is craziness! (yep, I know the 'one last winter blast before Easter' rule too, don't like this one:)

Hi Darla,
Your flowers are so pretty! I had to cover my lilac bush last night because of freezing temps again. I wish spring weather would settle in!

Cathie

Look how beautiful it is! Your clematis is making me anxious to see some bloom here! We seem to have a nice week around Easter, and then it cools down for a while again. Hope your cold snap doesn't damage your flowers.

It's very cheerful and colorful compared to here. Our Spring trees are blooming but no perennials or annuals. You know I like that Spider Flower. I planted 4 different kinds and just noticed a few peeking their heads out of the ground.

Oh My Darla, Hope the weather doesn't damage your beautiful flowers. We have had about 1/2 inch of snow--but I covered everything I could and brought potted plants and hanging baskets to the garage. There are some limp tulips and Daff's this morning--so I don't know if they'll come back or not. Oh--that MEAN Mother Nature!!!!

Our Clematis is just getting started. Hope this freeze won't kill it...

That's neat to have a cutting from your Mom's climbing rose bush... Special!!

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

Darla you have some good looking stuff growing there. Doesn't it feel good to see new growth. Have a good day. I hope it doesn't get as cool as last night. We were in the mid to upper 30's this AM and I hope that is it for the cold. I am sure you all experienced the same front.

Beautiful blooms this week Darla! I love that Clematis, do you know the name of it? It looks very similar to my Nelly in it's coloring. That's nice that you have one of your Mom's roses in your garden. :)

Beautiful, as always. I heard Vicki while laying in the hospital bed to get her seeds that she had planted inside out of the cold tonight. I asked her were those the seeds Darla sent you and she said yes. I thought that was so precious that she thought of that in all her pain and drugged up like she is. Keep her in your prayers.

A rose and clematis in bloom! I'm a little jealous because we're weeks away from either. But they -- and all your other flowers -- are beautiful.
