Bloomin' Tuesday...

It's Bloomin' Tuesday, hope you enjoy a few of the blooms I photographed from my yard this morning. For more Bloomin' Tuesday photos--click on the Bloomin Tuesday Banner on the bottom right of my page.

I still have more flowers blooming in my yard. Be grateful the Bug man showed up so I had to stop taking photos and let him in the house for the inspection.
Can you believe it, this is the third Tuesday in a row that I have had Gerbera Daisies to share!! Have been calling these Mums since I was a little girl, yesterday my wonderful neighbor, Ms. Doris stopped by to give me some Spider Lilies, anyway she said they may be Asters, still need help identifying them.
Small Marigolds. Larger Marigolds.
Mums of course. Two others that are just starting open.
How this Pinta got in a pot of Wishbone, the Lord only knows! Pineapple Sage is in full bloom, a little Clouded Sulphur to the right. Hanging Basket of Impatients and "Blackie" Sweet Potato Vine. Hanging Basket of Purslane. Vinca-- this first picture is my favorite, our 13 year old started it at school as a Mother's Day gift when she was in the 3rd grade.

And the Wishbones are everywhere!

Great pictures of your flowers!
The white 'mum' looks kind of like a type of shasta daisy. I've never heard of many of your flowers.
I REALLY like the wedding picture of you and Rusty!!

Thank you Dorothy. The white mum is similar although not the same as the Shasta Daisy, I have those too.

Great Pictures!!! Can I ask what Camera and Lens you have? Is there anyway that you could post the settings that you used with your camera?

I'm an aspiring photographer and I'm just trying to learn everything that I can.

Thanks,

Jake

Jake Lumix 6x optical, 24x Zoom, 5.0 megapixels. It has settings on the camera like any digital camera, and actually I don't know how to use it very well. I put in on normal or macro and see what happens. When I use the zoom it gets blurry sometimes, so I just get close to my subject. Glad you like the photos though!

Wow! You have a lot of great blooms still! I LOVE the gerberas, and the other daisies are so pretty and fresh. Well, they were all great, and you captured them so nicely. I really enjoyed your garden tour this afternoon.

These are beautiful!

Several people have said the mums or whatever they are look like Shasta Daisies, they are not. I have the Shasta's too. Keep thinking though. These flowers started out a peach and some of them still will be years ago. The color is almost white on some of them.

Beautiful flowers, not sure your neighbor was correct. They don't think they are asters. I vote for mums.
