I still have a lot going on with my flowers and I am so thankful. Here a just a few of the flowers that I still have blooming. To see more Blooming Tuesday Flowers click on the Blooming Tuesday Banner on the right of my page.
Daisy plant has been in the ground about a week now, so far so good. Always have plenty of this Celosia. To think I started with a tiny packet from the dollar store about 4 or 5 years ago.One of my two containers of Wax Begonia...semi-neglected. Last Tuesday I had two Gerbera Daisy blooms, this week four. This Golden Lantana had to be cut back to the ground because something had eaten all of the leaves on it, seems to be coming back just fine. Surprise! After the 20 inches of rain I just thought for sure this Angel Trumpet Tree, Datura, would not recover. It's trying!

I love your Angel Trumpet.
Them and moon flowers are favorites. You asked about cinnamon basil . Yes you can dry it an cook with it. And it has somewhat a cinnamon mix smell. I will dry mine soon. I used it all summer to repel bugs from the garden. It did a great job. My corn was not attacked at all.
Great selection once again!
You have some beautiful blooms Darla. I had that Datura when I lived in Georgia. It's really pretty!
I just noticed your saying on your sidebar about God being up to something. I think that is so true!
What beautiful flowers! Is this just a hobby? As many as you have, you could be in the nursery & florist business! Great photos!
beautiful blooms are growing in your garden. thank you for sharing them. i love the angel trumphet and it being purple what a bonus.
isn't it fun to start things from seed. i love it.
That Angel Trumpet of yours has beautiful coloring with the purple & white swirled together. You still have lots of lovely blooms in your garden Darla! My Gerber Daisy is still blooming too!
Darla: What beautiful flowers you have captured. You did a nice job of posting them.
Beautiful! My celosia was from seed that re-seeded, unknown to me, in pots, making the move perfectly, and suprising me with crazy blooms this summer!!! Everything is beautiful!
Hi Darla, My favorite is your Angel Trumpet bloom. I have always liked those flowers. They do so much look like a trumpet.
Birds of Paradise are so easy and maintenance free. I know they don't like frost or cold weather. Where do you live? In the spring I could send you a shoot from one of them. In my last home, the plants were over 6' tall, here they are only 3 feet tall.
Love, Ann
Each flower is so beautiful but Gerbera dasies are my favorite and yours if just gorgeous. Funny how one flower becomes 'mine'.
All of your flowers are so pretty. Glad your Angel Trumpet is surviving. I seem to kill everyone of those I get. My earlier photos of them were my sister-in-law's. Your mums are doing good.
You have beautiful blooms. The angel trumphant is gorgeous. Each blossom has its own unique beauty. Thanks for sharing.

Great photo's!!
Hey Darla, thanks for stopping by, you have reminded me how much I miss living in Florida. One of the first insects I ran into was the crab spider...had no clue, so the next thing I did was buy books on the flora, fauna and insects of Florida.
Now that winter is fast approaching us here in the North, I long for the salt-scented air of Florida and all the crazy bugs!
Be well...peace,
sharon
The purple angel trumpet is amazing! Absolutely beautiful. I've never seen the celosia is very interesting. Wonderful blooms,as always! Jean
Oh my...your angel trumpet. I want it! The lantana is beautiful too. I am determined to have some of this next year.
Dear Darla,
Lovely, lovely flowers.
I also am a seed to seed gardener.
Looking forward to reading all your past posts. I see you have butterflies pictured...I love them too.

Great flowers and pics from your garden. I neglected mine so badly this year so I really appreciate your work with these.
Darla - Thanks for stopping in to visit me. Looks like this is the place to come for a flower fix, as us northerners are headed to winter.
Beautiful!!
Now this is what I called a Garden of Love too :) Beautiful!!
I love the color of you trumpet flower. I haven't ever seen one that color before.
The Celosia is gorgeous! Lantana is one tough plant. I cut mine back twice a year--once in late summer to give it some new life, then again in January, when I cut it back to about 6 inches. It comes back a couple of months later and looks gorgeous again.
