Thanks fishing guy. Fixed it but not the way you said too, it's a woman thing, lol!
Those are awesome! I especially love the monarch on the white daisy!
You must have a beautiful butterfly garden to see all of those. They're beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous each and very one.
Oh wow, what wonderful shots! I love that blue one that you weren't certain about the name, it was my favorite.
I don't have a clue if the one I posted is a long tailed skipper as you mentioned - I'm going to check it out, you've got me really wondering now!
Thanks for stopping by today :-)
very pretty! You should sign up for the Today's Flower Meme with this set of photos!
Thanks!
these are such beautiful photographs! very crisp and colorful!
thanks for visiting us by the way. :)
I'd just have to identify them as beautiful, fascinating creatures who had their pictures taken by a great photographer!
The only butterfly I ever recognize is a monarch. You sure got to see some awesome ones. We have a butterfly 'conservatory' near us. I'll have to get myself over there and educate myself on them. LOL on your comment to my blog.
What a series! Congrats on so many lovely captures!
Oh my...what a beautiful post. And you got a photo of a luna moth...fantastic Darla.. Thank you for visiting my cat in the bag photo..If you want to know what they are for sure, you can post a photo to Bugguide.net and people will help.

Wow that's a lot of beautiful butterflies! The names look good to me but I am horrible at picking out which one is which. :) I love your Zebra Butterfly!

Wonderful to see so many beautiful butterflies. The monarch is the most spectacular!
What a nice variety of butterflies found in your area! Nice photos.
I Love it when I find one in mine that I haven't captured with my camera yet. ;-)
What a wonderful variety of flying critters that visited your garden this year Darla. You did a good job identifying them. :)
Gorgeous! My favorite is the luna. They are amazing!
Beautiful butterflies ! We didn't have a lot of them this year !
I can't believe you got photos of so many beautiful butterflies. Amazing! You must be a very patient person. Jean
What great photos Darla. I enjoyed all of them. Love those little butterflies and moths. I couldn't named half of them.
Great photos, Darla! I love photographing butterflies, too!
Oh, I love them all!!
Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog!
These are awesome shots! I was first blown away by how great that monarh looked against those bright daisies. I wasn't expecting there to be even more prettier butterflies. Nice job!!! :-)
I agree with Fishing Guy - you're just showing off... bwahahahaha and who wouldn't?!?! You've got a fantastic collection of gorgeous butterflies here! I would LOVE to see that blue one in person!
Absolutely gorgeous!
The 2 top Swallowtails are a Red Spotted Purple (8/25) and then Zebra (8/24).
You and I need to put our collections together.
