My frosty car at 6:30 this morning.
When the temperature drops below freezing my husband turns the sprinkler on the trees to make icicles for me. No, it doesn't kill the trees, we do it every year.
Our pear tree got the special treatment last night.
We think it's pretty.

Cool! I would never have thought of making my own icicles! I think I will wait and let nature do it...but not yet I hope!
He did that just so you could show us icicles for Watery Wednesday. He spoils you (so does mine!) It feels great, doesn't it?
Never thought of making my own icicles either. That's really neat. Does make for great photos! Enjoyed them much.

Wooo---just read that it got down to 25 in Florida. Hope it didn't do too much damage to the citrus. Love your icicles!!!
