Explaining the History of the Restoration of the old Capitol and the building of the new one.
I remember these being on the front steps.
House of Representatives
They found all of the original furniture for this room, Supreme Court.
We found this interesting about Disney World.

The new Capitol.

The children got to sit in the Representatives chairs and pretend like they were that Representative while they had a mock session, voting and all! It was so much fun. They went through all of steps, what a learning experience.

Debating.Rebekah voting. They even got to see their votes on the screen.

Rebekah and I between the old and the new Capitol. Old behind us.Rebekah and I on the 2nd floor. Silly Carmen, I actually kept him in my daycare.Going up 22 floors. These are a few of the views from 22 floors up.
Hospital--
Downtown Tallahassee, First Baptist Church to the left.
Florida State University Football Stadium.
Great Seals of the State of Florida!

Very beautiful Skywatch contribution!
Cheers, Klaus

P.S.: Please be so kind to add a link back to the main Skywatch Site, to invite others to see skies from all over the world. It's part of the rules for that very reason! Thanks!
Your Skywatch Team.

Those are great pictures.

Can I ask how you got those images to show up on your blog list rather than just the blogger (or whatever) symbol?

Thanks!

Silly Carmen looks like he could be family.

There are 2 steeples, so does not that mean you were making reference to the one you attend?

:D This post brings back memories. When I was in college we used to do capitals every morning. We'd jog from the dorm, down to the new capital building, and up the 22 floors of stairs to the viewing deck. Then back. No wonder I was skinny back then!
