Halloween Fun

She wanted to be a Garden Angel. Gown made from a sheet, hand sewn, gold trim glued on, wings made from poster board, spray gold glitter paint and gold trim, halo made from grape vines and flowers from the garden, belt from left over trim. Our Mummy was made from ripped sheets, soaked in boiled tea for the old effect, eyes darkened with black eye liner, gray and purple eye shadow.

Our friend "Jason" stopped by. Mask and knife from Wal-Mart, shirt ripped by his mom and fake blood applied.

Getting ready to Trick-or-Treat--My husband, Garden Angel, Jason, Mummy, my friend, and myself in the white jacket.

Last photo before the men in the cab , women and children in the back for our journey around the neighborhood. My friends husband, my friend, Jason, Mummy, Our daughter who has her hair sprayed gray, Garden Angel and my husband.

When we returned the children went inside to eat as much candy as they could hold and the adults went out to the fire pit to eat as many oysters as we could hold. A good time was had by all!

Darla - that mummy costume is amazing! Great idea to tea-dye the fabric. She's old and crusty.

Looks like you guys had a great night!

That looked like fun. Great job on the costumes!! The angel reminded me of a costume I did one year. I was a fallen angel. I had a bent halo, my my arm in a sling and a rubbed dirt over the knees in my costume. Get it? Fallen? :-D
