Saturday and Sunday.......

My husband and I love to sit around a fire when the weather is cool. After working in the yard Saturday this is what we did Saturday evening.
Today, Sunday, November 23, 2008 after church the girls and I went to buy paint for what use to be the playhouse but will soon become my garden shed.
Before..
During..
Color - La Fonda Geranium Red

After! I still have a lot of work to do, plant flowers around it, stencil some wonderful saying on the front, put up some hanging pots............you know, my mind has decorated the shed and around it 100 times if it's done it once!!
It will be a cute, special place and I am so grateful that the girls WANTED to help me! Will post photos as I continue to work on it. Any suggestions?

Your new shed is adorable! I like that paint color too...it is just perfect! Sweet girls to help you with it!!! My husband likes to make fires also on cool evenings and we have a big friend and family cookout.

Thanks for visiting my blog!!!

As soon as I read your description of your family, and that you like to can and do neat things in your kitchen with food you have grown, I thought of how much you would love my friend Mary, at Pokeberry Kitchens. She is also a Christian gal, and I think you would appreciate each other very much! I will let her know about your blog as well.

God bless you and your amazingly wonderful family!

What a wonderful little shed! It's adorable! It's a great idea to recycle the playhouse into the garden shed!! A neat project!

Thank you for visiting my blog and the flowers!!! I am bad at identifying flowers and truly this was a wildflower that I found amidst some leaves and pine needles in the middle of the forest!! How cool was that!

Awwww...I think that is such a wonderful idea! The girls get to always have their playhouse around.
I love your idea of stenciling a saying.
Looking forward to the results.
A little chair outside, a straw hat, a window box....oh, the possibilities!

Darla,

How wonderful that their playhouse...which brought so much enjoyment to them...is now going to be a place you create and grow your own enjoyment.

I love the color you've chosen!

Thanks everyone, it's not the best shed, although I am grateful to have it and cannot wait to get started decorating and planting around it. The girls are just as excited as I am about it. I am very blessed that they want to spend time with me not matter what I am doing.
