Today's Flowers and Fresh Soil!!

I have been asked if all of the flowers that I post are from my yard. Yes they are unless otherwise stated and they are usually taken the day I post. Once in a while I will post older photographs but I will state that as well. To join or view more Today's Flowers click on the Today's Flowers Banner on the right of my page!
Bromeliad Red Salvia, the rain has washed so much sand on my plants.Melampodium

Snapdragons
My lovely Sunflower Tree with a guest, yes it was taken today.

Mexican Sage.....Blurry
Wishbones

Verbena
I say this is Verbena, been told it's a Pinta......doesn't look the same to me.

Marigolds
Getting that fresh dirt !
Dumping that fresh dirt where the 7 inches of rain washed out the ground.
Spreading the dirt.

This is for those who plant Celosia. I threw these in the woods. This area is where I throw all of the after thoughts or too many crowded flowers and they mulitply like rabbits. Looks dead right now, when spring comes........look out!
Beautiful foliage on one of the blueberry bushes. We have more berries than bush!
Fresh dirt for my flower bed!

Your blooms are looking good Darla! And by the way I agree with you, that red plant is not a penta, it is a verbena.

I see you have a "throw-away" garden too! Can't wait to see what you have growing out there in the spring.

Darla, you have a great assortment of flowers. Some of them grow in my garden too. It's nice to see some acquaintances growing in a different garden.

Looks like you had a lot of work to do spreading the dirt around. I love the photo of the sunflower with the butterfly.

So many! I want verbena in my garden. Your garden is inspiring. Society Garlic is a great name for a flower. Like you could chew on it and people would still talk to you? ;-)

Darla, You are a busy lady! I know you are glad to get that new dirt. The flowers are all beautiful! I think the red flower DOES look like Verbena, especially the leaves. Love the Sunflower and butterfly!

I can't believe I didn't leave a comment here yet! I am so scatterbrained. Maybe I left it on a different post of yours and added that I like your bloom day pics. I grow some of the same plants you do. I'm glad you visited my GBBD blog.
