Gardening People.....Need I Say More?

Of all the different types of people I have met in life, nothing holds a candle to gardeners. They are the most sweet, giving and honest people. So, Grace liked a photo of my Celosia that I posted and wanted to know what type it was so she could purchase some. Anyone that knows me, even a little, knows that I LOVE to share my seeds and plants. (I believe that God Blesses my gardens if I have this attitude) So, I emailed her into letting me send her some seeds. All I wanted in return was her to post them when they grew.

Today I received from Grace....a sweet card............

and this little sign, just perfect for me!! It's probably not in it's forever home, just had to photo it and share............Thank you Grace!!!
Please take a minute and visit Grace at http://gracepete.com she has a wonderful blog with lots of good information!!!

This is a wonderful idea - I do share seeds with family and friends but I never thought of doing it up this way. The best part about seed sharing with fellow gardeners is you know they appreciate it because they truly know what those seeds mean to you.

THANKS FOR SHARING... on my way over to Grace's site.

Happy March Monday!

Darla~~

I am humbled. I knew I wanted to send you something but I wasn't sure...you know how it is? Nothing seemed "right" until I was perusing the aisles at JoAnn Fabrics and voila, the sign said, "Buy me...I'm small enough to fit in a 5x7 envelope...I'm cute...My wire is twirly...Darla will love me... Actually it said "My Garden, My heaven" but you get the idea. It looks right at home by your daffodil but if you're like me it will be moved all around depending on your mood and the seasons' attractions.

To all of Darla's readers~~

Darla sends her seeds in small manila envelopes with typewritten labels--very professional. And not only did I receive a generous helping of celosia seed, Darla tossed in zinnia and hibiscus seed packets. Darla is definitely a gardener's gardener. If you haven't Faved her blog yet, (Blotanical subscribers) then do it soon.

Patsy: If I have any seeds or seedlings that you would like just let me know and they will be in the mail that day. I love to see what we can grow w/o looking at zones.

Grace: Sigh...........Your gift IS above and beyond the little seed packets I sent you. You are truly an appreciative gardener! Not only was I impressed and excited so was my husband. I LOVE my gardening friends I have met since I started blogging in
Aug. 08.

How very kind of both you and Grace to share. Yes, I find garden folks to be pretty good folks, the best are the garden bloggers too!
