Very cute. I love watching how the birds take turns building and watching the kids later. They seem so dedicated to home and family. I guess we could all learn from them. ;-)

Oh Darla!
I have had a bird like this on my side mirror on my car all day!
The bird is looking at it's reflection thinking it is another bird. How funny to see it on your page.
Hope all is well with you!!

Is this at your house? How lucky are you? I look forward to watching the beauties raise a family. She sure had a mouthful to bring into the nest box!

We are putting up our blue bird houses this weekend, hopefully we have a couple pairs of Mr and Mrs take up residence, I see them every summer but haven't gotten any houses up til this spring, I whined and dined (And bought the wood and the hinges and everything else) and HUBBY FINALLY BUILT 2 of them. Can't wait to get them up and watch. Yours look like they come pretty close to the house, do you put out mealy worms or anything for them?

I am so jealous Darla! I've been trying to get a bluebird pair to nest in my yard, but no luck. I have seen two in the front yard sitting in my driveway of all places, but they didn't stay. I'm not giving up though!
