Melting the Wax
Soy Wax color chips
Some candles I made this morning. They are cooling. (this one is not complete)
Various containers I have used for candles.
This is my 325th post since I began blogging in August of 2008. Hadn't a clue I have posted so much. (I guess I must be addicted) I enjoy making Soy Candles in various containers. My Soy Wax candles are hand-poured and will burn longer and cleaner than paraffin Wax. 100% biodegradable and 100% paraffin free. Soy Wax is natural. Test show that paraffin candles can produce a variety of harmful substances including benzene and toluene, known carcinogens. You will be making the environment cleaner and supporting the American Farmer when you use these candles. Once you wash the containers with hot soapy water they are re-usable for anything.
I will be making 5 candles. Three candles will go to the first winner and one candle each to the second and third place winner. You will have your choice of fragrance and color, containers will be a surprise.
Fragrances are: Lavender, Boysenberry, Jasmine, Strawberry, Cinnamon and Spice, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Southern Butter Pecan, French Vanilla, Orange Creamsicle, Apple Orchard, Amaretto Apple Crisp, Cucumber Melon, Rain, Island Getaway, Baby Powder, Wave Crest, Iced Cranberry, Plumeria, Airburst, Rose Passion, Pomegranate, Star Fruit, or Slices of Fruit. (I am sure these are not all)
Color Choices are: Red/Pinkish, Blue, White, Yellow, Orange or Green.
