Believe it or not I think the sun may have been in their eyes. My beautiful babies. Don't ask!!!

Neither photos are a Monarch. They are both a Gulf Fritillary. A beautiful butterfly in itself. When you actually see a Monarch you will know it. It's body is black with white polka dots. It took my breath the first time I saw one, which was earlier this year.

The black swallowtail looks like a Pipevine.

Glad you survived the storm.

It's still raining on and off here. I have found some very interesting butteflies after the storm. One was blck with yellow stripes! It was too fast for me though.
