Thursday Evening Waiting on Fay

Not really sure if any of this has to do with Tropical Storm Fay, (although this is not our typical sunset here). We are waiting for the crazy amounts of rainfall she is supposed to be sending our way.......would like some rain, not flooding though. Our oldest daughter lives in Daytona Beach and she said it's been raining steadily since last night. I love sky pictures...wanted to share them. Maybe tomorrow something more impressive.

One of my MANY Bell Peppers, yes I planted them in the mist of my flowers.

I think it's a type of Black Eyed Susan, the person who gave it to me says it's not, any ideas?

Here's the dwarf Mexican Petunia, kind of cute, will be better in the ground next spring.

Maybe it is a type of Blanket Plant. Reminds me more of it than a Black Eyed Susan.

Forgot to tell you I like the 2nd and 3rd photos of the sky the best. Then came back and said it all wrong, so I deleted it and started over. As my daughter would say "Butta Fingas"

Know all about them Butta Fingas. Check my spelling lately?

Nice series of sky pictures! And you have some wonderful flower photos on your site. I love those Black-eyed Susans.

The sunset is really dramatic. Hope you get some rain, but not too much!

Ahhhh, beautiful skies! Always a silver lining with these big storms, right?

I think Leedra is on the right track with your flower on "Blanket". I really looks like Gaillardia sp. that is called blanket flower. Not just the coloring, but the leaves below it too. The only difference is that it isn't as full flowered as the typical ones.

Thanks ya'll! The sky was eerie last night. Today rain, rain and rain...weather station says we may get 10 to 15 inches of rain this weekend......dunno. Blanket Flower, I'll have to look that up. I know the stems bread really easy unlike the Black Eyed Susans.

not bread, break. darn fingers!
