Darla: You really have some beauties visit your new house.

Yay, Darla! That must be very gratifying, having such handsome visitors take up residence. I've heard they're very discriminating with the homes they choose so I think you should pat yourself on the back. :)

How exciting! And soon little beauties to sing to you in the garden too.

You are so lucky to get bluebirds. I think they are sooo pretty. Hope the chickadees and bluebirds don't fight over the house. They must all like your yard.

Darla, it is great having bluebirds around, isn't it? We noticed them around here about three weeks ago.

How wonderful to have blue birds! I had a pair nest last summer on a house on the side of my garage. Hubby has been doing work inside so I hope they still nest. I've seen them about - just not at the birdhouse.

My post this week is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.

Congratulations on your new tenants!

Bluebirds are such pretty and beneficial birds. I’m still watching and hoping for them to find the new boxes I built this winter

I added a bluebird box a couple of years ago & plan on adding a couple more this season. I've never seen this bird in my garden though but the wrens use it for their nests sometimes.

Great bird pics! I have one of one of our doves, but it's not the best pic. I've been hearing more birds singing, but haven't seen where they are so I can take a pic. Oh, I did see 3 hawks flying, but couldn't get a clear pic of them, either.

You are so lucky! Was it warm there today? We were in the 70's. I loved it!

How nice! I've been wanting a bluebird house myself since I've seen them in my backyard. I'm a little nervous about it being a cat magnet though. So I haven't gotten one. You'll have tons of fun watching these guys I'm sure.

The Bluebirds and Tree Swallows have begun their annual picking of the birdhouses.
