Skywatch Friday

I snapped this photo while I was at a stoplight yesterday morning, Wednesday, on the way to drop the girls at school. It is the I-10 overpass. Yes, it did make for a very beautiful day. Looks like we will be doing the 40 70 split for a few days and then the 50 80 split! YIPPEE!!!!

Hi Darla, We're supposed to be up in the 70's over the weekend---so I'll bet that is when you'll be in the 80's... Is spring really coming??? It will probably just be another 'tease' for us.

Great picture.
Hugs,
Betsy

Our day started with blue skys then clouds rolled in and looks like more rain. My yard will not get dry for one more week.

As usual, your picture is wonderful! I hope to get my seeds started this weekend. It is going to be in the 70's this weekend. I am so excited. I am still enjoying the soap and candles. I love them!

What a great way to start the day. We're supposed to have nice weather for the next few days as well.

Hi Darla ~

Nothing like seizing the moment, snapping a photo at a red light. With cameras so small now, we can keep them in our purse for just such an occasion. While I was driving today, I spotted this older Datsun pickup loaded down with plants in the back. I mean disproportionately weighted down. It was hilarious and I wanted to get a photo but before I could, he turned onto another street. Oh well... Enjoy your balmy weather. :)

Lovely shot!
Before retiring I would drive to school and see the sun coming up and always wished I could stay and enjoy it. :)
We're supposed to have 70's this weekend. We're all hoping aren't we? I'm hoping the weatherman is right for once.

Well, with out knowing it was Skywatch Friday, I posted pictures of the sunset lastnight, lol. They are on my blog if you want to see them. One was taken outside, but the other angle I wanted had to be taken from my kitchen window, glad the window wasn't dirty.

I like sunrises better then sunsets. Maybe beacuse I have live on the east of the Mississippi most of my life, except for North Dakota, Illinois and Oklahoma(where I was born), when I was little.

Beautiful sunrise!
It's supposed to be in the 70's today. I can't wait to go out walking around the farm and not freezing at the same time.

Beautiful photo--I'm not a morning person, but I love to get up early just to see the sunrise.

Looks like you had a great trip to the nurseries the other day. It's still too early here for the garden centers to start stocking plants, but soon, very soon. I can't wait!

That is a really pretty picture. Looks like you were the only one up in your town. No cars! I thought I was the only one who carried my camera every where I went! It's never too early to snap a picture.
