Great shots of the birds.

I just scrolled down and found the posts about your Son. My heart goes out to you and your family. Looking at his picture brought me to tears.
I will be keeping all of you - including his friends - in prayer.
((hugs))

Those are good shots of the birds. The one in the middle almost blends in with the tree trunk.

I just read about what happened to your son. I'm so sorry he went through that.

Glad he is safe and recovering though...

*Hugs*

Hi Darla... Great 'critter' pictures!!! How are you? How's your son and daughter??? Hope life is becoming more 'normal' with your family now.

I like these, especially the middle one. I've tried, with very limited success, to take pictures of some of the birds we see around here; but I've found it difficult! You did a great job! :)

Aren't the birds like the blooms in winter?!

Don't you love that feeder by Droll Yankee? I have 2 of them, 1 on either side of the deck, and the squirrels can only take advantage of it if my battery has run down:) They've eliminated (some) of my squirrel problems...but not all...as I've got a TON of them! I suppose you must too??

Hi Darla, Nice captures of the birds! I truly love nuthatches and hope to have a pair breeding in my backyard this year. They are so energetic and beautiful birds too. But the truth is, I love all native birds. They make beautiful music and are fun to watch too.

I too send good thoughts to you and your family!! and I would call the newspaper and demand they be more responsible - assumptions are NOT news

I hope everyone heals quickly

The nuthatch was my favorite - his classic pose of walking down the tree headfirst! Cute!
