GBBD 15th of the Month!

One of my favorite containers that I change out every season, - Pansies, that don't look to good after 28 degrees last night. Impatiens on the front porch with Asparagus Fern and Devil's Ivy.
Pineapple Sage
Snapdragons
Stock
Flowering Cabbage
Candytuft and Ornamental Kale

Petunias

Dianthus

Volunteer Alyssum

Camellia

Gerbera Daisy

Some of these flowers I covered last night and some I did not. Not to shabby with the low temps. I will be covering tonight and tomorrow night, not looking forward to the teens here in North Florida. For more Garden Bloggers Bloom Day visit http://maydreamsgardens.blogspot.com

I was thinking about you, Darla, and your pretty flowers. I hope the Arctic temperatures don't stay around very long. I'm glad that you are covering some of your flowers/plants.

Pansies can generally make it through the frigid temps. However, ours are really struggling this year since we've had so many cold days. Our low this morning was 10 degrees. We’ve had some snow–but just a dusting. It’s blowing around in the air mostly!!!

I gave my birdies some extra breakfast this morning!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I had two pots of Pansies out side. They are froze, hope bringing them in the house will keep them alive. It is 17 now at 10:00 to night 20 mile an hour winds and very cold.

I wish we could grow Camellia in Tennessee. Love to smell them, and they are so elegant.

If you are going to be in the teens, what are we going to be?

Oh, love the Radio Flyer with the flowers in it. Think Mason will let me have his John Deere wagon for flowers? Oh, 2nd thought he would love to get in there with flowers. He picks flowers faster than I can pull his little hand back. And that was last year when he was not 1 yet. Just think what it will be like next year with me running behind him. I have a dried zinnia bloom that he just plucked off the end of the stem.

Gorgeous flowers and I needed them to brighten a snowy day. I just love the wagon planted with pansy's. I love recycled ideas on container planting.

Wow, so many blooms! I'm jealous that your daffs are already blooming too. :-)

The pineapple sage is terrific. I first saw the plant (and smelled it) at Longwood Gardens. I wish I could grow it here.

Thanks for a beautiful post.

Thanks for sharing! We have no colors outside right now aside from white, brown, the occasional evergreen, and more white. It's nice to see all the color you have near you.

I am so jealous you can already play in the dirt. Take care of those tender plants. They are going to be so pretty. We'll get home from vaction the first week of March. I'll start some seeds indoors. We can't set them out until May. Have a beautiful day!!

Darla, it is so nice to see some outdoor blooms. Hope this frigid weather doesn't hurt them. Your Camellia is beautiful, Sigh...

I love the wagon full of pansies! After looking at all the beautiful Bloom Days posts I am making a resolution to do more next winter.

Betsy is right ..your pansies wil be ok!
My in-laws own a nursery that supply Birmingham and Montgomery with bedding plants.
I have to stay out of there because of my plant addiction (smiles)

The sun and your pretty blooms are a comfort on this arctic cold day.

You have a pretty assortment of blooms. I love stock. Some years it grows better than others here. I hope the cold snap didn't do much damage.

Lucky you to have blooms in your garden! I hope they all survive the cold temps.
I love that white star jasmine and wish I could grow the pineapple sage. Perhaps I could as an annual.
Thanks for visiting and saying hello :)

Alright, it is official! I have got to get some ornamental cabbages/kales. They are so pretty, and worse comes to worse, you can eat them! (Or can you?) LOL-guess that would be a good thing to know.
